Keep it Short and Sweet
When writing a short description there are a few things to keep in mind:
- It should be no longer than 2 sentences. It’s a quick synopsis of what your business is.
- Be sure to make your message clear. This is the first detail customers see.
- Be catchy and energetic! Show enthusiasm.
Another factor to consider is placement. Your profile’s short description appears directly below your image/video.
Running with the same example as above, the “short description” immediately informs your viewer what your product is and an important detail/spec (product dimensions). A potential customer immediately knows what they can expect to learn about without guessing.
